This is What a Fully Integrated STEM classroom Looks Like
Kudos to Ms. McKie for fully integrating STEM in her classroom work and environment.
- Her bulletin boards had STEM related activities in multiple subject areas with rubrics and feedback.
- Her STEM interactive notebooks are being used.
- Her writing boards had students writing about the life cycle of a plant.
- I could see evidence that her students had read "Seed, sprout. Pumpkin Pie" and when I was in her room she was explaining how students were going to begin writing about a personal narrative from their own life cycle, and she clearly related that to the life cycle reading they have already done.
- I could see anchor charts for the Social Studies regions of Georgia.
Great stuff Ms. McKie - see attached pictures to check out the work.
