Dekalb County Tech Fair

Students are eligible in grades 3, 4, and 5. Student or Parents please contact Ms. Miller or Ms. Karvis the first day back from winter break, should your student need a sponsor. Follow the rubric for whichever category your student might be entering.

The DeKalb County School District Technology Fair started in 2001, by Sherry Nix and dcsdtechfair_2017Gayle Esposito of the Instructional Technology Department, as a “show what you know” event highlighting various technology project from students throughout the county. The DeKalb technology fair has grown to the students competing in the State Technology Fair categories within their grade levels.

The DeKalb Technology Fair provides great ways to highlight students’ technology knowledge. Students are able to demonstrate creativity and practice their presentation skills, while receiving constructive feedback from judges. Students in grades 3-12 are eligible to participate. First Place winners in the competition qualify to participate in the 2017 State Technology Fair.

This year, the 2017 DeKalb County Technology Fair will be held on Saturday, January 21st, 2017, at Elizabeth Andrews High School located at 1701 Mountain Industrial Blvd. Stone Mountain, Georgia 30083.
